Research for the CV idea with several reference,

Simple visual hierarchy and photo to provide a clean and clear information for viewer. By using black and white to reduce the cost while printing and reduce the contrast of the overall design so that viewer can more focus on the information instead of the design.

Different size of the text to create guideline for the viewer when reading. Providing a sense of spacing to prevent viewers from losing interest in reading due to too much and crowded information in the design.

Designing a border that contains the main information can provide guidance to the viewer. Using charts instead of plain rectangles to represent skill levels is a creative design element for this CV design.

Hand Drawing Sketches:

Draft aCV design and analyze its shortcomings for improvement. It should be noted that border designs should be avoided because this kind of design style is too different from that of web banners.

CV Digital Sketches:

Keep exploring and designing. Using monochrome color to avoid being too obviously different from the web banner and causing design inconsistency. The white background is used to contrast with the black background design of the previous web banner design.

CV Final Design:

 

Provide spacing and balancing as important design elements. Using different sized of fonts to create visual layout and avoid losing visual impact while providing important information. 

Lecture

For a website, video or short reel is essential. A short reel is the best way to promote a designer's artwork. It can accurately convey to the audience what the designer wants to express and convey. However, to make a perfect showreel is a big problem.

First, the creator needs to analyze what elements need to be included in the reel. These elements such as their artwork need to be relevant to avoid inconsistency and confusing the viewer. After the analysis is completed, the creator needs to place the best artwork at the beginning of the video to attract viewers and increase their interest in watching. Creators can express their design concepts and the core value of the film through storytelling. It's like a movie, a reel could impress the audience, make it bored or intrigued.

It should be noted that a good quality reel can determine the impact your artwork has on viewers. The choice of music is also particularly important. Music can serve as a channel to convey information, allowing the viewer to understand the emotions the creator is trying to express.
