A1: Website Element

A1: Website Banner

A1 Summary

From this A1, I learned about the process of designing a website logo. Unlike designing branding logos, website logo must be simple and clear. While it can convey key information, it can also easily leave an impression for users. Therefore, the logo design will be mainly in a simple style to avoid being too fancy and cause unrecognizable by users.

In addition, in the process of designing the website banner, I also learned that a good web design needs to have clear guidelines for users. This guideline can guide users through the reading steps on the website in order to avoid missing any important information due to layout problems. In addition, wisely use of guideline can indirectly guide users to browse the website again unconsciously, thus forming a loop. Web banner design should not only focus on the visual part, designers should also consider the balance between aesthetic and functionally of the overall web page.

Next, during the design process of CV, I also realized that the visual aspect of CV is not the focus. Most of the time CV is the resume of each interviewee. Therefore, it should be based on information and avoid adding too many graphic elements and lead to the information to be ignored.
